The national ‘You and your general practice’ website indicates that the practice will respond within one working day to an online request. In the first instance this might be an automated acknowledgement. Because of the volume of queries we get, it can take us up to X working days to respond to online queries. Please do not submit an online query if you believe you need a quicker response.
The national ‘You and your general practice website’ – which we are contractually obliged to link to – describes the national contract which we have with the NHS and the terms of that. We also have local contracts with the NHS via the local Integrated Commissioning Boards (ICBs) so it is possible that not everything on the national website will be accurate, as we may have local contracts covering some issues.
